Info booklet with interesting facts In this technological age, it’s a huge frustration to visit a reserve where personnel at the Reception Desk hand you a black & white ‘hand-drawn’ photocopied map.
Firstly, one gets very easily lost because of inaccurate drawings and, secondly, it reflects amateurishly on the reserve. Tourists are willing to pay approximately R20 for a grand 3D colour map in an A5 booklet with interesting facts about the reserve/farm, which they can keep for the next time they come back. Pocket size map in booklet format: We also produce a smaller pocket size map in booklet format for backpackers on hiking trails. No more getting lost on that camping adventure! ECO Mapping makes every walking trail a new adventure – explore places of ecological and geological interest, read through notes on dangerous animals and survival skills! Don’t leave on the next walking trail without ECO Mapping’s pocket size map! And, if the places you’re visiting don’t have one yet, urge them to let us map their world!
Tourists will be back if you make their experience worth it by presenting your reserve/farm professionally. Take for example a group of typical city tourists getting lost in a big 5 area because the ‘hand-drawn’ map they had to use was inaccurate. Hey, even rangers get their moments of ‘temporarily disorientation’! But if they had a map created by ECO Mapping, they could have seen where elevation changes, what the exact distances of roads are, see places of interest along the road and vegetation types.
By using ECO Mapping’s 3D ecological map, it makes every trip in the reserve a pleasure! At places of interest we put a cement marker with a number on. We also create road signs – just the way you like it! From vinyl on metal, cement guide posts to finger posts.
